The District Board of Trustees of Daytona State College is the governing board of the College. It is charged by Florida Statutes and State Board of Education Rules with responsibility for establishing policies which determine the quality and direction of the development of the College, which establish an effective management for the College, and which assist the institution in carrying out the approved mission, objectives and philosophy. The Board delegates to an appointed president the responsibility for administration of the College in accordance with its established policies.
