District Board of Trustees

The District Board of Trustees of Daytona State College is the governing board of the College. It is charged by Florida Statutes and State Board of Education Rules with responsibility for establishing policies which determine the quality and direction of the development of the College, which establish effective management for the College, and which assist the institution in carrying out the approved mission, objectives and philosophy. The Board delegates to an appointed president the responsibility for the administration of the College in accordance with its established policies.

Note: Appointments to the Daytona State College District Board of Trustees are made by the Governor of the State of Florida. Board members continue to serve until reappointed or an appointment is made.
