On the Home tab select Batch Scanning.
You should see your department’s Scan Queue. If you don’t see yours or see others, please report to the System Administrator by Service Request.
Select Sweep from the Capture tab.
Select Import one file.
You can select a file from anywhere on your computer, but if you used MFD printer to scan, go to N drive Department’s folder.
Double click the file or right-click and click Open.
Note: PDF file will have limited features.
Select Go to Batch from the Document Review tab.
Your batch file will show up in Records Scan Queues as Awaiting Document Separation status or Document Separation Status Queue

Then all your staff will be able to process the document separation and index.
NOTE: In Web Client, one can only do index. (Not able to do the document separation)
If your document has more than one document type or more than one student/employee, you should use Batch Scanning.
Select Batch Scanning from the Home tab.
Select Scan from the Capture tab.
If you need to add more pages, select Scan More Pages otherwise, select Done.
Select Go to Batch from the Document Review tab.
In the Capture menu, if you did not see your Scan Format field, please submit a Service Ticket.
Copy and paste the following info to the ticket (update to your info).
Please setup the default setting for the scanner for the following staff.
ID: Your employee ID
Name: Your name
Location: Your location
System (Computer) Name: Name of your computer (Ex.D1KXYYZ2)
Please setup the default to the following to Batch Scan menu and Import > Acquire area.
B&W 300DPT Single Sided
B&W 300DPT Double Sided
Grayscale 300 DPT Single Sided
Grayscale 300 DPT Double Sided

Your computer name will be found by typing in the Start menu “System”. Either System or System Information will give your system name.
On the Import tab, select Document Type Group and Document Type.
In Keywords, input the information to search for a student.
Click Acquire in the ribbon at the top.
On the imaging device screen, select the one that has (TWAIN) in the name.
On the next screen, select Scan.
Click Import.
As soon as you click Import, the document will be searchable by others.
