Module 1: A Path to Self-Exploration

In this module you will have the opportunity to learn more about yourself. By completing self-assessments you become more aware of self-awareness characteristics related to your preferences and possible careers that align with your interests and skill set. 

Upon completing the self-assessments in this module, you will:

  • Identify personal interests, values, and aptitudes 
  • Recognize transferable skills related to future careers

A concept map of the path to self-exploration. Values - What matters to you? Asking what kind of life you want and how work will fit into it, your preferred work environment, if you want to help others and if stability is important. Interest - What do you enjoy doing? Identify past work or school experiences you enjoyed, what you enjoy outside of work and school and things that make you feel good about yourself. Skills -What are you good at? Research, leadership, innovation, marketing, problem-solving, communication, technology.
