Falcon Self-Service for Students
This guide will demonstrate how to use the various functions of the MyDaytonaState Student Falcon Self-Service portal.
You will be prompted for your Daytona State login information.
Use the Drop Classes menu to drop or withdraw from a class.
Dropping a class after the Drop/Add Period has ended is considered a withdrawal. You can withdraw from a class up to the Withdraw Deadline indicated in the academic calendar. Students will not be eligible for a tuition refund and must still pay any outstanding balances owed to the college.
Financial Aid recipients are strongly advised to contact the Financial Aid office to be aware of any consequences before withdrawing from a course.
Select and expand the Enrollment menu, then select Drop Classes.
On the Drop Classes screen:
Use the checkbox to select the class(es) you would like to drop or withdraw.
Then select the Drop button in the upper right of the screen.
Use the three dot More Actions menu on the right of a course listing to view drop and withdrawal deadlines.
Select the Drop button to confirm you want to drop the class(es).
Review your confirmation and select the OK button.
