Falcon Self-Service for Students

This guide will demonstrate how to use the various functions of the MyDaytonaState Student Falcon Self-Service portal.

Access Falcon Self-Service

  1. Go to the MyDaytonaState portal and select Falcon Self-Service.

  2. You will be prompted for your Daytona State login information.

Accept / Decline Award

 

  1. Expand the Financials menu, then select Accept/Decline Awards.

  2. If needed, select the correct Financial Aid Year.

  3. New loans or other aid types that need to be accepted will appear in the New tab. 
    1. To accept or decline the offer, click Action.
    2. Select Accept or Decline.
    3. Select Submit.
      NOTE: Half the total loan amount will disburse in Fall, the other half in Spring.

  4. To reduce the amount, select Accept, then enter the lower amount you elect to borrow. Then, select Submit.

    Enter reduced amount if desired.
