They are also able to recognize appropriately react to others as they react or display a variety of emotional states. This sensitivity and empathy aids one in managing their own emotional well being and their reactions to their social environment. Fortunately, one can always work on becoming more emotionally intelligent. It takes self-awareness and the commitment to learning about communication, the nature of relationships and potentially shifting your beliefs.
