Can Virtual Proctoring be Conducted on Campus?

Taking a Virtually Proctored Exam on Campus

While virtual proctoring is intended primarily for remote testing, there are options for using virtual proctoring on campus. The primary resource for on-campus virtual proctoring is Daytona State College Assessment Services. Please contact Assessment Services for details on using virtual proctoring in the assessment centers.

Office of Assessment Services

Due to limited availability and cleaning protocols, we can only take 2 appointments a day for the Honorlock test. Testing times will be limited to no more than 4 hours, if a student needs more time than 4 hours they will have made other arrangements and cannot test in the Assessment Office due to availability. Walk-ins will not be allowed, all students MUST call to make an appointment. More days and times may be opened later in the semester depending on the availability of the testing rooms. Thank you and let me know if you have any questions.

Student Support Services

A secondary option is the Daytona Campus Library. While the library is not a formal assessment center, there are three group study rooms that can be booked by students and used for testing. Students must reserve a study room ahead of time by using the Book a Group Study Room link on the Library's website. There is a two-hour time limit on each reservation. If students need additional time, they must contact a librarian to arrange an extended reservation ahead of time and provide proof that the exam being taken exceeds two hours.
