Academic Support Center
The Daytona State College Academic Support Center is a great resource for you and your students. The ASC is present on all DSC campuses--Daytona, Deland, Deltona, Flagler/Palm Coast, New Smyrna Beach, and Virtual. Students and faculty use the ASC for more than its primary function, tutoring services for students. You can reserve computers in the ASC for your class if you're working on something that would benefit from a group computer lab experience. The ASC regularly offers workshops and other helpful sessions, so be sure to check out their website for updated information and hours of operation for each campus.
DSC ASC Mission Statement
The Mission of the Academic Support Center (ASC) is to foster learning and help students achieve their academic potential by the programs, services, technology, and learning resources students need to become successful independent learners through collaboration with the rest of the college-wide community.

- Supplemental InstructionSupplemental Instruction (SI) is a series of weekly review sessions for students taking historically difficult courses. SI is open to all students who want to improve their understanding of course material and improve their grades.
