Notes: Integrity is a core value of DSC. Maintaining high standards of academic honesty and integrity throughout our institution is a shared responsibility of students, faculty, staff, and administrators. This session will identify strategies to encourage academic integrity within courses and offer guidance for responding to and reporting violations of academic integrity. Examples of violations of academic integrity will be reviewed along with the college’s procedures in reporting academic integrity violations and the role that Judicial Affairs serves in this process.

Preparing for Reaffirmation of Accreditation Visit, Alicia Alexander

Notes: All institutions accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) are required to undergo a review for reaffirmation of accreditation every ten years and the QEP is an integral component of this process. This session will provide information to prepare for the On-Site Visit portion of the review, which is being held September 25-28. Information shared will be related to logistics for hosting the SACSCOC Review Committee members, preparing campuses, and updates on the QEP project.
