This quote will be the outline I will follow for the three blogs I intend to write.

Why is change hard?  Change involves: going out of your comfort zone, lots of planning, commitment to achieve the objective of relocating the library.  The following were our first steps:

Decrease the physical collection to fit the allocated space.This was not an easy task, because we had to follow a standard to decide which books would no longer be helpful to our students

Clearly communicate to everyone involved what we are doing, why we are doing it and how we are proceeding

Be accessible to staff who may want to ask questions and/or share their concerns about the status of their jobs

Let the staff know by words, actions, energy and enthusiasm that you are behind the move
