Summer Shells & Request for Falcon Online

For the past couple of years, faculty at Daytona State College have been able to add Honorlock and H5P as requested tools into their Falcon Online course shells. Both tools require special access due to the limited number of licenses. Our goal is to keep institutional costs low, while also encouraging best practices for academic integrity and innovation. Now that summer 2021 course shells are available, please remember that you'll need to continue to request access for both H5P and Honorlock each semester.

H5P Request

H5P Request Form: H5P is a free and open-source content collaboration framework based on JavaScript. H5P is an abbreviation for HTML5 Package and aims to make it easy for everyone to create, share and reuse interactive HTML5 content. Interested in using this in your own course? Then fill out this request form linked above and gain access today!

Honorlock Request

Honorlock Request Form: Proctoring services allow students to take proctored exams online from a remote location using their own webcam and high-speed internet connection. Faculty can allow students to access some applications, (for example, on-screen calculator), and allow access to only those websites they would like available to their students during the test. Faculty can control the testing environment while giving their students the freedom and flexibility of using calculators and necessary websites. Learn more by visiting the Virtual Proctoring InfoGuide. To request virtual proctoring in your Falcon Online course shell, fill out the Honorlock Use Request form linked above.
