Tuesday, January 14
8:30 - 9:30 a.m.
Academic Innovation and Instructional Resources Meeting, Dr. Cheryl Kohen, Bill Harrison, & Erin Arthur
Audience: Required for faculty teaching hybrid and online courses
Location: HYBRID: Center for Innovative Teaching & Learning (CITL) (Nunamann Hall, building 200, 2nd floor) & Online via Microsoft Teams
Notes: This meeting is mandatory for all faculty teaching hybrid and online courses. Please join us to learn about updates, resources, and best practices for digital learning at DSC.

Center for Innovative Teaching & Learning (CITL) Open House
Audience: All faculty and staff (college-wide)

eMentors Meeting: Academic Integrity, GenAI, & Student Engagement, Dr. Cheryl Kohen, Bill Harrison, Erin Arthur, & Richard Vollaro
Audience: Members of the eMentor Committee and open to the Daytona State College community
Location: ONLINE: Online via Microsoft Teams
Notes: The eMentor Committee will discuss the piloting of two engagement tools, Harmonize & Perusall, during the Spring semester. The group will also hear updates about GenAI, academic integrity changes, and a new employee GenAI training initiative.

DSC Service Portal Overview, Information Technology Staff Members
Audience: All faculty and staff (college-wide)

Notes: The training session on the DSC Service Portal, our new ticketing system, will give staff a thorough introduction to the platform’s features and functions. Staff will learn to create, manage, and find tickets and communicate and collaborate within the system. Additionally, the session will highlight best practices for using the DSC Service Portal to optimize workflows and enhance efficiency in handling issues and requests.
