Spring Planning 2024 - Distance Learning Track
Happy New Year! Spring planning begins next Monday, January 8-12, 2024. Here is the full Spring 2024 Planning Schedule. You'll notice that many of the sessions are available virtually via Teams, though there are some face-to-face or hybrid sessions, such as the Online Studies and Instructional Resources meeting, and the Faculty Innovation Center's open house (Daytona Campus, Nunamann Hall (bldg 200), second floor). Online Studies and Instructional Resources Meeting, Dr. Cheryl Kohen & Bill Harrison
Audience: Required for faculty teaching hybrid and online courses
Location: HYBRID: Faculty Innovation Center & Online via Microsoft Teams
Notes: This meeting is mandatory for all faculty teaching hybrid and online courses. Please join us to learn about updates, resources, and best practices for digital learning at DSC.

Notes: Mix and mingle in the Faculty Innovation Center! Refreshments of bruschetta, caprese skewers, cookies, coffee, tea, and water will be served. Get help with your Falcon Online course shells and visit with peer faculty members.

Enroll in ACUE for Spring 2024 Reminder
Once again, Daytona State College full-time and part-time faculty members may now register for Spring 2024 Association of College and University Educators (ACUE) cohorts! This presents an exciting opportunity for faculty members to enrich their teaching practices and foster an environment of inspired learning.

You may learn about each of the different courses in our upcoming January and March cohorts, and enroll yourself using the Daytona State College's ACUE portal. All full-time and part-time faculty will be eligible, but there is a limit to the number of participants. You can (and are encouraged to) sign up for more than one course. To enroll in any of the January 2024 offerings, faculty must register by Monday, January 15, 2024.
