Happy Holidays and New H5P

We now have access to the H5P Advent Calendar and a new game called Game map.

The Advent Calendar

The Advent calendar allow users to add videos, audios, images, texts and links within each door. The look and feel of the calendar are also highly customizable. 

  • You may add your own graphics to the calendar itself,
  • You may add your own graphics to each door and inside each door making the calendar itself look exactly the way you want it to.
  • Inside each door you may add your favorite Christmas videos, audios, images, texts or links to external resources.

Game Map

A game map consists of stages that you can arrange on top of a background image. You can upload any background image and arrange stages on it, so the use case is not limited to “maps” - even though it is probably the most prominent one.

Each stage is connected to one or more stages and can hold an H5P content type for the user to view or complete. You can define rules that will determine what stage the user is allowed to move to, so you can create a game-like experience.

Additional Information on H5P

How can you check it out yourself? Start in Falcon Online. Then click on Content in the navigation bar. Next you will click on the blue button that says Upload/Create. From the drop-down menu, choose Create a File. Now click the Insert Stuff icon. Scroll down that drop-down menu until you find H5P and click on it. You can then choose what type of H5P activity you want to build after clicking on the blue Add Content button.
