Let's Talk Teaching: Critical Thinking and the Writing Process with ChatGPT

Thursday, November 9, 2 PM, Teams

Presented by: Percy Mercer and Lisa Jordan, Writing Specialists, DSC (Daytona State College) Writing Center

What's the difference between knowing what a sandwich looks like and what a sandwich is? Can AI tell the difference? By studying artificial intelligence and its use of critical thinking or lack thereof, students and faculty can further understand these programs and their processes in order to better utilize their abilities. During this session, you will learn some strategies that will help you and your students efficiently interact with AI. Please join writing specialists, Percy Mercer and Lisa Jordan, for this exploratory conversation about AI in the classroom.
