State and Local Emergency Contacts
Contact information for the agencies that will coordinate disaster response at the state/local level. In the event of a major emergency, look to these sources for up-to-date information.
Federal Emergency Management Agency
FEMA coordinates federal response to natural and man-made disasters. Their website has many resources for planning and response to emergencies.
Red Cross Shelter Locator
If a disaster has taken place in your community, the Red Cross may open emergency sheltering places with access to food and basic medical care. Use this search function to find a shelter near you.
